Fizik Terra Powerstrap X4 Gravel Cycling Shoes

Designed for off-road gravel bike adventures, the Fizik’s Terra Powerstrap X4 Gravel Shoes are a comfortable, reliable option for those who enjoy travelling off the beaten path and exploring the countryside. The Powerstrap Velcro closure system provides a reliable fastening system, the straps are supportive, spreading the pressure across a wide area so that there are no pressure points, and the X4 nylon outsole has a stiffness index rating of six for a great blend of efficiency and compliance. The upper features less mesh than many cycling shoes for better weather protection and they are compatible with most two-bolt, MTB style pedal/cleat systems.

Fizik shoes are built with a performance fit: true to size in length but with a narrow, low-volume toe box. Do not size up — it won't solve a width issue. If you have a wider or higher-volume foot, choose the Wide Fit version. If you're unsure whether Fizik suits your foot shape, check our size and fit guide before ordering.

I bought these as an ultra endurance shoe that I can walk in if needed. A huge factor for me with this is ensuring that there is plenty of room in the toe box with no pressure points on my toes. These are very good in this respect and more roomy than the wide fit shoes I was wearing previously. The two Velcro strap fitting works remarkably well and can readily be adjusted on the move. Snug and comfortable with no pressure points. I’ve yet to ride ultra type distances in them mind but they already feel better than any previous shoe I’ve worn. Reasonably light as well

  2. How resistant is the Velcro to getting dirt trapped/how easy to clean. I have a pair of Shimano shoes with Velcro and after a few rides off road the Velcro is clogged with dirt and foliage an now looks grubby.

  3. Hi, I currently ride shimano xc3 mtb and had to order a 46 when i usually have a 45. Compared to this ones, would you recommend stick to 46? The size chart suggests a 44.5. Thanks in advanced
