Focus' Cayo has quickly become one of the most recognisable names in do-it-all performance road bikes. The Focus Cayo Road Frameset 2016 is the linchpin of this versatility, offering a lightweight carbon fibre construction that is more than capable of taking on anything from short races to an epic audax.

The Cayo frame comes with custom pipe diameters for each frame size. This offers an optimal ratio of weight to stiffness without sacrificing comfort. The inner installation of the cables is achieved by a removable plate, which is mounted on the front of the head tube so the cables are routed optimally and cleanly in the frame and are protected from the elements.

Also featuring is the tapered headtube. This design reduces steering weight while increasing the headset stiffness and overall handling compliance. Focus' pressfit30 bottom bracket, in conjunction with the large connection area to the frame, allows for the unencumbered transfer of power through the pedals and down into the road.

The added bonus of the Concept EX seatpost and stem means that you have a fantastic base upon which to start your build.
