Finally a do it all wheel is available at a reasonable price, the Fulcrum Racing Quattro Wheelset (White Hubs) 2015. The combination of an aerodynamic profile, without being excessive, into a light weight design makes these wheels perfectly suited to all road and triathlon situations.

The aerodynamic advantage comes from their 35 mm deep section. This was designed to give you optimum performance in terms of handling, light weight, stiffness and aerodynamics. 35 mm was chosen as it increases torsional as well as lateral stiffness compared to normal rims.

The spokes were also chosen with aerodynamics in mind, as they feature an aerodynamic profile to further improve penetration through the air.

For this year though, Fulcrum have put a lot of work into updating and improving the hub. The oversized body is fabricated in aluminium, as is the axle. This sizing and material choice was to give superior lateral stiffness whilst reducing weight. The all important internals make for smoother rolling thanks to the ultra high quality steel ball bearing system, which is also adjustable. What this means for you is quick and easy adjustability to the incredible performing and durable hubs.
