Excellent jersey. So far only used it for about 600km in temps ranging from 0C to +5C, always with a light long sleeve merino baselayer underneath and either a windblock vest or insulated vest on top. It has worked exceptionally well. Having re-read the description now I'm even more impressed that it nails the key points of this jersey as used in the real world -- e.g. definitely on the slim fit side, but stretches enough to comfortably accomodate a baselayer. Fabric feels nice against the skin too, so looking forward to warmer months in this. Great cut, no bunching in the shoulders as you get with T shaped seams on some other brands. It's also short enough to hide under a slim fitting vest, so extra clean style points there. Some reviews mention it to be long in the arms -- they're not short that's for sure, but not a problem for me at least. Gloves go over the cuffs in colders months anyway, briefly rode without gloves and don't remember this being an issue. Nothing negative to bring up really, maybe just note that the pockets are on the smaller side. More of an issue getting stuff out mid-ride than a capacity problem. My snacks go in a top tube bag or vest though, but you could fit gels no probs. 6ft (183cm), 62kg, male, wearing size Small.

But I'm not sure if the cheap price is due to a slight defect. The collar area doesn't seem to hang properly, but then it's like half the price of what it is on the Gore Wear website, so I decided to keep it anyway!

Is it waterproof ?
Hi, This jacket is made using thermal fabrics for extra warmth as opposed to waterproofing, so it is not waterproof. The lower rear of the jacket does have an extra layer of water-resistant material to prevent road spray from getting your lower back wet. Many thanks, Max
