Gore Wear’s C5 Thermo Bib Tight is intended for use in cold, dry conditions, with the thermo-stretch fabric concentrating on insulation rather than offering total protection against wind and rain. However, GORE® WINDSTOPPER® Cup Technology has been used around the groin in order to keep cold air off the lower stomach and more delicate areas, and the whole tight benefits from a DWR treatment to ward off light rain and road spray.
The straps and upper feature mesh for improved breathability and wick moisture away from the body, while the ADVANCED Brand Core seat insert is shaped for ride-long comfort. Reflective details finish the tight off, enhancing visibility in low light.

1) Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape horizontal.
2) Waist: Measure around the narrowest part (below the bottom rib an above the hip bones), keeping the tape horizontal.
3) Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.
4) Arm Length: Measure from the highest point of your shoulder following your bent arm down to wrist bone. Bend your arm slightly.
5) Inside Leg: Measure from the top of your inner leg along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.
Decent quality and well made as to be expected from gore. They are warm enough and a good fit etc but but these are definitely not shower or spray resistant etc. Twice been out in during a light shower and they get wet through quite quickly from spray etc at which point the thermal side of things noticeably starts to fail. They are perfectly good for a dry chilly day but not a lot else.
These are, like other Gore products, very well made. But there is a huge problem; they are shaped to fit someone made of string - or narrower! I am 62kg and 5'9" and of slim build yet it was like trying to pull on a too-small wetsuit. And you cannot get a larger size as they are already a long fit. If you have calf or thigh muscles these tights are not suitable.
