Advanced waterproof and windproof Gore-Tex fabric features innovative SHAKEDRY technology so that water beads instantly on the surface and can simply be shaken off. There is no sensation of the jacket getting wet, so it never gains weight, wets through or loses its shape because of water penetration - not just quick-drying, but never wet in the first place.
Exceptionally lightweight, the jacket can be stowed in a backpack until called upon and a drawcord at the waist ensures a consistently good fit without bunching. Shoulders are seamless to enhance comfort when carrying a backpack and there is an internal gaiter at the waist to prevent the jacket being flushed out with cold air. When it does warm up you can open up the two front pockets for a blast of ventilation.
