With this bundle, not only do you get accurate, dual-sided measurement of your watts, you also get Garmin's top-end Edge 1030 GPS cycling computer. The Vector 3 Double Sided Power Meter is highly accurate to just +/- 1% of your true output, and measures total power as well as your left and right leg power balance.

A number of upgrades since the Vector 2 result in a reduced stack height of just 11.5mm and a cornering clearance of 31.7 degrees so you can pedal through tighter corners in confidence. The location of the measurement is in the pedal spindles and the sensors are now located internally, an update to the older pod design, resulting in simpler installation and the ability to switch the pedals between bikes with increased ease.

Weighing just 316 grams, the rider limit is 105kgs and the pedals come with Keo type cleats. Accurate and reliable power data is transferred to the Edge 1030 head unit via ANT+ and Bluetooth so you can view your numbers in real-time. The 1030 is Garmin's top offering, combining performance, navigational and connectivity features for a complete package.

Maps are preloaded and can be extended by an optional MicroSD card to include more countries, enhancing versatility for almost any adventure. Popularity routing is a relatively new feature that means you can enter a destination and choose a pre-mapped route that is already popular or commonly travelled by other riders. The turn by turn directions and alerts to upcoming sharp corners allow you to stay ahead and be ready for what may be coming up in the road, enhancing safety and allowing you to focus on your ride.

The 3.5" high-resolution touchscreen is simple and intuitive and it's possible to select audio prompts so you can keep your eyes on the road at all times. With 20 hours of battery, you'll have the power for even the longest days on the bike. If you wish to cover multiple days where you're unsure if you'll have access to a charging point, you can purchase a separate external battery pack to up the battery life to 40 hours.

To keep in touch with other riders using an Edge 1030, the rider to rider messaging is a great feature, and you can link the unit to your phone so you are alerted to text messages and calls without having to go into your pocket.

You're able to set a number of customised screens so you can see exactly the data you're interested in. Offering a complete insight into your performance, as well as the power you can connect your computer to other sensors including a heart rate monitor and cadence sensor.
