I bought this as an upgrade to the previous Eclipse, which I like but really it was for cooler conditions as the venting was not in the same league as my Aries. I read that this new version had better venting, so I was keen to see if it was an improvement. Whilst i haven't had the chance to try it in hotter conditions (thanks UK weather) I can confirm that this is a level above in terms of ventilation. It gets cooler as your speed increases - when you are going quick it is genuinely cold. Aside from that it is comfortable, fits well, isn't heavy and due to the aero does appear quieter than other helmets.
