The Giro Privateer Lace MTB Shoes are a great, comfortable option for any kind of off-road riding. The outsole features an aggressive, lugged tread that will provide grip in all conditions and can even have steel toe studs added if required for extra traction. They are drilled for 2-bolt cleats with a wide area around the pedal for easy engagement. The upper is made from breathable microfibre with a rubber protection over the toe and heel area to prevent damage to the shoe or foot from rocks.

Excellent MTB/Gravel shoe! Stiff sole to enable efficient wattage bazookas to be laid down, just compliant enough to be comfortable to walk in for some hike-a-bike. Look great, laces are excellent for getting the fit 'just so'. Would highly recommend to anyone. If using the sizing scale and you are borderline for a size, go a size up, runs a little small.
I’ve never had a pair of shoes that feel this good. Seriously thinking about replacing my road shoes for Giro’s come spring. It’s hard to describe because it’s not a feeling as such, I just forget about my feet. Also, it’s winter and these shoes are so nice I haven’t been for a ride without my endura sl overshoes and I’m snug as a bug in a rug. 10/10. Not sure how to describe the fit, I’m a UK 11 and went for a 47. I think I must’ve seen something about sizing up, and I’ve got them for winter riding so I’m wearing woolie boolies.
