Engineered with a PU-laminated mesh upper, the Ferox Carbon 2 combines exceptional ventilation with targeted support, keeping your feet cool and stable even on the toughest terrain. A newly engineered Fizik last with a rounder toe box ensures a more spacious fit, accommodating a wider range of foot shapes for long-lasting comfort. Both the footbed and upper are shaped to follow your natural alignment, enhancing stability and reducing knee pressure during off-road rides.
Performance is where these shoes truly shine. A reduced heel-to-toe drop keeps you closer to the pedal axis for improved stability and pedalling efficiency. At the same time, the Boa Li2 Fit system and upper hook-and-loop strap allow quick, micro-adjustable fit control. Beneath it all, the X1 Carbon outsole, with high-traction rubber tread, ensures optimal power transfer and grip, backed by a Fizik sole stiffness index of 10/10. Pedal Compatibility
These off-road shoes are compatible with MTB and trekking pedal systems that utilise the 2-bolt cleat system, such as Shimano SPD, Look Trekking, X-Track, and Crankbrothers Candy.
Size note
Fizik shoes are built with a performance fit: true to size in length but with a narrow, low-volume toe box. Do not size up — it won't solve a width issue. Accurate sizing guidance can be gained by measuring the length of your feet from the back of the heels to the tip of the big toe. This measurement corresponds to the "Foot Length" column in our size chart.
