Featuring the same race inspired styling and fit as Giro's premium women's cycling shoes the Solara will not be left wanting, whether it be on a hilly sportive or long summer ride with friends.

One area where Giro have managed to reduce costs is in the sole. Rather than a carbon sole that is found on their premium shoes, Giro have utilised a very stiff nylon Zytel sole. Zytel is one of the stiffest forms of nylon and it's performance closely matches that of carbon. This means that maximum power is efficiently transfered through the shoe and into the pedals.

The upper of the Solara is made from a supremely supple and highly breathable microfiber teamed with strategically placed air-mesh vents that will help to keep your feet cool, even on the hottest of summer days.

A secure and comfortable fit is provided thanks to an adjustable micro ratcheting buckle and two broad D-ring straps, with the mid-foot D-ring offset so to relieve pressure from your metatarsal, ensuring slipper like comfort that will make you want to ride all day.
