Hand made in the USA and featuring a HED patented aerodynamic rim profile, the Vanquish RC6 Performance Tubeless Disc Brake Front Wheel is an ideal addition to any high-end road bike that frequents flat to heavily rolling terrain. The rim is realised in a refined grade of carbon fibre to guarantee a lofty stiffness-to-weight ratio and a lively, reactive response under acceleration. The carbon is moulded into a wind tunnel tuned, 60mm deep rim profile that cuts through the air while remaining highly stable when confronted with crosswinds.

A 21mm internal rim width has been designed to better support the sidewalls of tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres, helping them achieve lower rolling resistance, more comfort and extra cornering grip. The 30mm outer rim width maximises the aerodynamic performance of 23, 25 or 28mm wide road tyres by smoothing the airflow across the tyre-to-rim junction, reducing drag-inducing turbulence.

HED’s own hub uses a strong aluminium shell and is Center Lock compatible to grant reliable disc brake power and accuracy. These hubs spin on super-smooth stainless steel bearings and are linked to the rims via bladed Sapim CX Sprint spokes arranged in a durable two-cross lacing pattern.
