The Vanquish RC6 Performance Tubeless Disc Brake Rear Wheel is hand made in HED’s own manufacturing facility in Minnesota, USA and features their patented rim profile to guarantee a performance boost to any rider who tackles flat to heavily undulating parcours. The rim is made from a high-grade of carbon fibre to promise an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio and a reactive response to pedalling input. The carbon fibre is formed into a 60mm deep rim profile that has been sculpted in the wind tunnel to realise exceptionally low aerodynamic drag and stable crosswind handling.

A 21mm internal rim width stabilises the sidewalls of tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres, helping them to perform with extra comfort, increased cornering traction and lower rolling resistance. A 30mm wide external rim width combines ideally with 23, 25 or 28mm wide road tyres to smooth the airflow past the tyre-to-rim interface and markedly lower speed-sapping turbulence.

The aluminium HED GP Performance hub is light but strong, houses smooth spinning stainless steel bearings and integrates a rapidly engaging freehub. This hub is linked to the rim via bladed Sapim CX Sprint spokes laced in a reliable and efficient two-cross pattern.
