Hamax Siesta Rear Pannier Rack Mount Child Seat
The Hamax Siesta Rear Pannier Rack Mount Child Seat provides a comfortable and secure way to carry a young child on a bike, whether that is when running errands in town or enjoying some fresh air in the countryside. A three-point safety harness holds the child safely in place and there is an additional chest strap for total peace of mind. Footrests with straps and integrated suspension add to its comfort and the seat can be reclined by up to 20 degrees for a better sleeping position.
The seat can be mounted on a rear rack between 120mm and 180mm wide with a tube diameter of 10-20mm, but the rack must be rated for 25kg plus of load and conform to ISO 11243 for safety reasons. As the seat can be locked to the rack, it is safe to leave attached to the bike whilst out and about.
