There's a mesh sleeve to keep a laptop up to 15" separate from the rest of the contents. If it starts to rain, you have the protection of a water-resistant coating, as well as the option to use the ripstop rain cover, bringing additional insurance. A micro-mesh zip compartment is ideal for storing sunglasses, protecting them from scratches, and there's a clip to connect your keys.
The bag has a port compatible with hydration systems, and there are two external pockets for bottles. When you're carrying a heavy load you'll appreciate the breathable back padding, padded straps and a support strap across the sternum.
