Aero Gains

Kask WG11 Rotational Impact Test Protocol
WG11 is Kask's own rotational impact test protocol. The objective is to create helmets that keep you safer in the event of a crash. WG11 aims to more closely mimic the real-life conditions of head impacts than current industry testing. The "pass-fail" criterion is based on the BrIC value, an algorithm defining the level of brain injury. This value must be lower than 0.68. All Kask WG11 cycle helmets pass this figure, with values substantially less than the target.

Ordered this for triathlon on my husband’s recommendation as it’s a more ‘normal’ style aero helmet that apparently scores as high as the teardrop ones in aero testing. It’s comfortable and fits true to size - just a bit tight getting wide frame sunglasses on with it (I.e. instead of a visor) so would recommend trying on first if you plan to wear these.
