The Kinesis Racelight Aithein Frameset brings a whole new level to the Kinesis Racelight range. With stylish looks and racer geometry, Kinesis have worked hard to develop the alloy road category. The Aithein is as at home on a leisurely Sunday ride as it is in the peloton of your local criterium series.

While many manufacturers have chosen spend their time and money developing carbon over recent years. Kinesis have applied the same level of development into it's aluminium, believing they have created a frame that rivals carbon in many ways but out performs it on price. The advanced 'Anti Gravity' seat tube is the result of such development, adding tremendous core strength to the bike. This allowed Kinesis to lighten the main tubes, which goes some way into helping the Aithein be super lightweight at only 1200g in a 56cm. The frame housing a super wide BB86 bottom bracket ensures efficient conversion of rider input to maximum power, perfect for a breakaway attempt or just stamping out of the corners.

The monocoque carbon fork weighs in at a nimble 330g. Slotted perfectly into a tapered head tube the tapered 1.5" fork, adds both stiffness and comfort to the ride.

The frame is finished with Kinesis' usual tough anodised finish and etched graphics, which include dice styled into the brake mounting point. Available in three striking finishes (Sweet Orange, Sick Green and Black Anodised) the Aithein will not only turn heads but has a style to suit every rider.
