The Race last has a slim fit with a narrow toe box and tighter heel and has been designed for high cadence and high-pressure riding, correlating with the power put down for the prolonged efforts of a triathlon bike leg. The Nufoam upper is extremely lightweight and breathable, offering great moisture management to keep your feet fresh. This material and the Trek-Dry liner have anti-bacterial properties to prevent the build-up of unpleasant odours.
The full carbon sole is incredibly stiff so all the power you put down will be translated into speed with very few watts lost. Although stiff, there is still a little flex to ensure the highest levels of comfort and being compatible with three-bolt cleats, you'll be able to match this shoe to Look and Shimano pedal setups.
The closure is via a hook and loop strap and single Boa, making for quick on-off, even with the shoes attached to your pedals, and simple micro-adjustments on the go.
