MAAP Pro 2.0 Womens Bib Short

The MAAP Pro 2.0 Womens Bib Short has been conceived specifically for the most challenging rides. The leg and glute panels comprise a 4-way stretch compression fabric to donate excellent muscle support, increased bloodflow and reduced fatigue when the pedalling is most demanding. Additionally, this material is highly breathable to prevent overheating and possesses a unique exterior weave to markedly reduce aerodynamic drag.

An ergonomic cut ensures superior freedom of movement and shape retention, and the flatlock stitching throughout the design cancels the chances of chafing and irritation. Broad, elasticated bib straps partner with silicone leg grippers to hold everything perfectly in position, and a mesh back panel improves airflow in stifling conditions.

A women’s specific dual-density chamois by Elastic Interface cossets the sit bones when in contact with the saddle and reduces pressure on the rider’s most sensitive areas. This chamois also has laser-cut perforations to improve ventilation and an antimicrobial top layer to help maintain freshness on the longest rides.

cg24,

I never write reviews but these are hands down the best shorts ever! I have tried virtually every brand but struggle to find shorts that fit me well as I usually find them too big on the bum. The pad is ridiculously comfortable and not overbulky. Not cheap but you get what you pay for!

Velovelo,

All my bib shorts had worn out so I ordered and bought a range of different top of the line models from respected brands. The Maap Pro are my favourite of all, I literally cannot fault them in any way. I kept them because I liked the fit - I'm not a fan of shorts with a high front, and these sit just below my belly button which means I don't have a gap with jersey but its not too high either on the bike or off. I sent back other bibs because they reached to my sports bra and I found that claustrophobic and less good for getting rid of upper body heat. I've now ridden the Maap Pro shorts on various rides up to 150km. They're extremely comfortable, breathable, nicely compressive everywhere without being too much, no chafing, no seam irritation, quality is exceptional they also look cool and are very flattering. Most importantly, I personally found they have the best pad I've ever ridden, on short or long rides I had no issues. The pad is the firmest I've used but somehow is the most comfortable I've tried even over long distances, presumably because the padding is in all the right places and the low bulk helps it stay in the right place at all times, including when getting in and out of the saddle. By comparison, another bib I use have a more spongey pad which is also very comfortable though the bulk makes them feel less racy. The Maap Pro pad also has holes in so it breathes and dries very quickly. This is great out on rides as it increases comfort and also helps when you're doing laundry ;) Have been using for a few months now and they have washed perfectly every time on delicate 30' setting. Despite how expensive they are I will definitely be looking at Maap for my future bib purchases.

About MAAP

Propelling cycling forward since 2014.

Born in Melbourne in 2014, MAAP was founded with a simple intent: design cycling apparel that fuses progressive technical performance with considered, modern design. Worn by some of the world's most demanding riders, every piece is engineered to elevate the ride — from training laps to grand-tour ambitions.

We've been propelling cycling forward since 2014. Founded by two Australian riders frustrated by the cycling apparel of the day, MAAP set out to create kit that was as confident in design as it was in performance. The team has grown, the riders have changed, but the same restless drive still shapes every collection.
