Thanks to the 3K Carbon, the EPS foam density is reduced by 20%, resulting in a lighter yet better-performing shell. At the same time, the EPS liner is wrapped in polycarbonate to enhance durability and protect surfaces against the elements. A 360° internal belt provides a secure and comfortable fit, with multiple adjustment areas and fewer contact points against the head to maximise airflow. Aerodynamics are obtained by the unique tube-shaped tail, allowing air to flow smoothly. In addition, the NACA venting system, alongside 19 vents with rear deflectors, allows warm air to escape to keep your head cool.
The MIPS AIR internal safety system protects against rotational impacts without adding bulk, and sunglasses can easily be stowed within side ports. The Air Lite straps buckle up underneath the chin and can be adjusted for a customised fit, while the outer shell features reflective decals to enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

Great helmet. Fits well, good ventilation in warm weather and has saved my life when I hit a wall at 40mph. Broken ribs , hand and shoulder but my head was fine. Would definitely recommend it. This is my third one. Broke the other 2 crash testing them 👍🏼🚵🏼♂️
Main reason for a new helmet was I needed more ventilation than the one I had, which I don't think was helped by its yellow plastic MIPS layer sitting close to the (shaved) head. I do overheat easily, especially in summer. The MET is joy in that respect, feeling more breeze against the head and glasses fogging up far less, but still retaining it own, more advanced and discreet MIPS system. The other helmet was relatively light and although quite bulky it never felt it on the head - not at least until getting the MET which suddenly felt even more forgettable once on. Its narrower profile and lack of mass, together with clever fastening system, feeling really good. Looks really good too.
