Combined with these materials is the rotating thread inserts. These help to prevent the possibility of thread damage and bent bolts while also offsetting pressure build up around the seatpost clamp interface. Available in three different diameters, the M:Part Threadsaver Seat Clamp is recommended for use with alloy seatposts.

Hi im looking for a seatpost clamp this may sound silly but do I order the 31.8 for a 27.2 post size allowing for the frame

1. Hi Dave, The clamp required would differ depending on the frame, you would need to measure the outer diameter of the seat tube where this would clamp to get the required size. Kind Regards Liam
