The FreeLite 2 Ultralight Tent from MSR lives up to its name by providing space and protection for two people whilst weighing little more than a kilogram, making it a great option for fast-moving adventures where every gram is counted. Despite its impressively low weight, it still features two doors and two porches for maximum convenience.

The Easton pole uses a hub-based configuration so that it is very quick to put up, with the inner simply clipping onto the pole once it is pegged out. Large mesh panels on the inner ensure good ventilation and airflow but still protect against unwanted insects, whilst the silicone coated flysheet keeps the rain and wind off.
