Constantly developing and refining their compounds, Michelin has developed this tyre with the knowledge gained from their experience in MotoGP, where grip is everything. The race compound delivers unrivalled traction in the corners and excels in dry conditions.
An independent test found the new race compound contributed to a 10 watt gain over Michelin's predecessor; when used as a pair of 25c tyres. This equated to a time saving of 1 minute and 25 seconds over 40km riding at 35km/h.
The Aramid Protek strip adds a layer of puncture protection that improves the tyre's resistance to punctures by 13% when compared to its predecessor. Now there's a race-ready clincher tyre from Michelin that can do it all.
