Purchased this having already used both the dry & wet lubes from muc off. They are both very good until conditions become mixed, I found the wet lube was causing dust & grit to cling to the chain on dryer areas of my trail. Where as the dry lube soon got contaminated when hitting slightly damp patches under trees etc... I suppose to be fair they both are fitted to conditions exactly what they say are. No doubt I will switch back to the wet during winter & the who knows dry might go on if we get a dry dusty spell. This hydronamic lube seems to fit the bill & Sigma had it a really good price complete with the uv torch lol! I've done 2 rides using it now in mixed conditions & it seems very good, I think the uv torch is a bit of a gimmick to be fair though as you can clearly see what links you have done without it.
Product Details
The Muc-Off Hydrodynamic Chain Lube 50ml with UV Torch provides pro-level lubrication in a neat and easy to use pipette system bottle. Developed in conjunction with professional riders, it's an easy to apply, durable and high performing lubricant.
Whether tackling the mountains in a sportive or getting muddy at a cyclocross race, the lube offers exceptional performance in the wet, or in dry and dusty conditions. Claimed to be the most efficient chain lubricant for long-distance riding and for the most extreme weather, the lube is also eco-safe as it uses a petroleum-free formula.
Simple to apply to the chain using the mess-free pipette design, the synthetic polymers within the formula are designed for long days in the saddle, and help ensure crisp and fast shifting even during multi-day adventures. A UV torch is also supplied, and this highlights any links of the chain that may have been missed in the lubing process, guaranteeing even and consistent coverage.
