A synthetic mesh upper allows a cooling airflow and has a bootie construction to hold the foot plushly, donating support when the running pace is high. The Ultra Heel design cups the rear of the foot to eliminate slipping, and the lace closure system fastens with even tension, eliminating pressure hotspots.
