Designed for longer rides or as a supplement to other luggage on extended trips, the ORTLIEB Saddle Bag Two adds 4.1 litres of cargo space. It features a rugged, fully waterproof construction with roll closure so the contents remain totally safe and dry. Attachment to the saddle is via a simple mount, which makes it quick to detach at mid-ride coffee stops for security and also means that it can be swapped onto other bikes with the same mount. An additional strap stabilises the pack on the seat post and reflective patches aid visibility on the road after sunset.
It’s a well made bag that can hold a lot but I’ve 2 slight criticisms. It’s a pity that the mounting bolt has a philips head screw rather than a hex bolt (as everything else on my bike uses - maybe a petty quibble), and it’s not a great option if you don’t have it reasonably full as things will rattle and bounce around inside.

Seeing as a carbon seatpost has no problem supporting a rider weighing 60-80kg, it seems a bit odd that it wouldn't be able to support a bag with contents that weighs 2-3kg.
Hi there, Orlieb's recommendations are no for this, This is due to extra weight being on the top of the post which could make a carbon post fail if there if too much weight, Many thanks Joe W
