Since 2007 Oakley have been releasing limited run colour ways of this 80's icon, each being available for a short period of time.

The LX frames are different to the standard Frogskin frames, they are make from Acetate which gives durability and all day comfort. They use Oakley's three point fit that holds the lenses in precise optical alignment.

HD polarised lenses minimise glare and using the tuned light transmission of the Iridium lens coating. Peripheral vision is vastly improved by the level of lens curvature in the lens.

The optical precision and impact resistance meet or exceed Z80.3 optical and basic impact standards.

The lenses are formed out of Plutonite which gives a high level of UV protection filtering out 100% of UVA/UVB/UVC and harmful blue lights up to 400nm. Which put simply means that your eyes are truly protected from the environment.
