Oakley Racing Jacket Fog 30 Year Sports Special Edition Sunglasses

When you think of high performance, sports eyewear the first company that springs to mind is probably Oakley. In celebration of producing performance eyewear for 30 years, the American eyewear specialists have released the Oakley Racing Jacket Fog 30 Year Sports Special Edition Sunglasses.

A collector's piece, part of the Oakley Heritage Collection, the designers at Oakley have added a printed stripe graphic on the top of the frame, which harks back to the styling of original Oakley eyewear 30 years ago.

Oakley are so proud of their 30 years at the top that a "30" graphic has also been laser etched into the corner of the lens.

A usable piece of history. The strong, durable and lightweight O Matter® frame is flexible and with impact resistance figures that meets ANSI Z87.1 standards for high-mass and high-velocity impacts, you can be sure the Racing Jacket will stand up to the rigours of riding.

Finding your lenses steaming up when wearing these glasses is not an issue, with integrated surge ports added to channel airflow. Visibility is key on any high performance set of sunglasses and the optimised peripheral design and side protection, provided by the Polaric Ellipspoid™ lens shape, is an innovative addition.

Sunglasses are most at home in bright, sunny conditions so the addition of UV treated Plutonite® lenses is a welcome one. These lenses filter out 100% of UVA/UVB/UVC and harmful blue light up to 400nm. The Iridium® coating on the lenses reduces glare and improves light transmission.

Fit and comfort are catered for with the Three-Point-Fit system, which positions the lenses in the optimum optical alignment. Customisable, interchangeable Unobtainium® nose pads have also been added, allowing these sunglasses to fit snuggly and securely on the face.
