Light, bright and simple, Petzl’s Actik Headlamp can provide between 2 and 120 hours of light depending on the settings, with a maximum output of 350 lumens. Powered by common AAA batteries that are easy to find all around the world, it is a good option for extended adventures when a power source might not be easy to find. For more day-to-day duties it is compatible with the Core rechargeable unit. There are three power settings with the white light and a further two options with the red light which preserves night vision and won’t blind other trail users. Operated by a single button for simplicity, there is also a lock function to prevent the battery from getting drained accidentally. The headband can be removed for washing and features reflective details for extra safety.
