Powertap C1 Chainring Power Meter
Introducing the PowerTap C1 Chainring Power Meter; a go-to option for affordable, effective and accurate power measurement for the rider looking for an edge over the competition.
With a two-part system design that bolts onto any standard compact chainset with a five bolt 110 millimetre BCD, the C1 is the perfect option for riders looking for a meter that can be integrated into their current system for out-of-the-box ease of use.
Adding a measly 150 grams to your set up, the C1's two chainrings are machined as one piece by the world renowned drivetrain experts FSA. Available in 50/36, 52/36 and 53/39 options, the power meter unit is easily and seamlessly accommodated into setup sitting between the rings and the spider.
ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART compatible, the C1 Chainring Power Meter can easily connect to the vast majority of bike computers for an on-the-go readout of your power. Furthermore, the C1 is dual-band capable and thus its firmware can be updated over the air.
A staggering 200 hours of battery life is provided by the CR2032 button battery so you can rest assured that you can roll a while without losing power. Capable of dual-sided measurement, the C1 provides both left and right readings with just the one sensor.
The motion based electronics of the meter alleviates the need for additional sensors and also minimises the effects of external factors, such as temperature and precipitation, on the accuracy of the power reading.
