The Grit 4540 PCW Disc Brake Wheelset from Princeton CarbonWorks is a versatile, high-performance option that is equally at home on or off-road. The sophisticated variable depth sinusoidal carbon rim is fantastically aerodynamic yet also delivers stable and predictable handling in crosswinds. This design also allows for more carbon to be concentrated in high-stress areas, and less where it isn’t needed, keeping the weight down without compromising strength at all.
Tubeless compatibility is made easier by the holeless rim construction, which also strengthens and stiffens the wheel whilst reducing the amount of carbon needed, making it lighter. With a 21mm inner width and 29.9mm outer width, the rim is well suited to modern, wide road or gravel tyres. Princeton CarbonWorks hubs and two-cross spokes add smooth-rolling efficiency to the package.
