The bib shorts seem well made and a very "tailored" in that they hug the body well. There is a separate piece of fabric around the seat area, which is more "grippy" so that you don't slide around on the saddle when riding. The legs are a good length (I bought size L and am 180cm) and have a very nice compressive fit around the thighs - supportive, but not at all tight. The straps are wide, comfortable and not tight. However, I bought these to replace another pair (different brand) for a "gran fondo" event, though found the pad to be far too thin for this purpose. The pad is approximately the same thickness throughout, with no specific countours or extra padding around the sit bones or "channel" through the middle of the shorts - it's one piece, all the same. I therefore find that I have a tolerance for about 3-4 hours at most on British roads, and there's no way at all I could wear these for a longer ride, let alone a gran fond where I'm in the saddle usually for 6~9 hours, depending on the event. In summary, these feel - and look - very much like high-end racing shorts, and I do enjoy them on the shorter rides. However, due to the design and build of the pad, I definitely reach my tolerance level after about 3 hours of riding and onwards.

Bought the Q36.5 Gregarius Pro bibshorts from Sigma Sports. These are the dearest bibshorts I have purchased - bought them from here as the price was as decent as I'd seen. I checked the size guide & it recommended a Large but i aren't so young anymore & I don't like overly tight bike wear , so I got XL. Firstly I noticed the quality when they arrived. The packaging was really good ( sort of gift wrapped ) & the shorts themselves felt slightly different to the Castelli , àle & other brands i have used. They fitted me extremely well around the legs , bum & belly. The straps weren't tight ( maybe as I'd sized up ) but didn't move when I cycled. My first ride was a 125miles ( usually do 50 to 100 ) & not once did i even think about the shorts - felt so comfortable on my legs & at the end of the ride I was the only one who didn't mention having a sore butt...this seems to be the best pad I have used ( & i had concerns going a size up - thought i may get abit of movement ) but ,again , not once did it cause me any concerns. As long as these last then they probably are the best shorts I have worn. Now , I'm wondering what they would be like if I got a Large ? I would recommend these without hesitation.
