Rapha Trade Team Short Sleeve Jersey
The 2015 Rapha Trade Team Jersey has a streamlined, race fit, with a design based on one of three cult liveries. Constructed from the same block and fabric as the Rapha Pro Team Jersey, it is breathable and lightweight, and features a three-pocket layout with a valuables compartment. Ideal for warm-weather riding, the jersey's exemplary moisture wicking and UPF 50+ protection ensure this will quickly become your first choice when the sun is out.
The 1980s was the decade modern road racing arrived. It began with a French team, sponsored by a state-owned company and which would make France’s greatest race its own. Notching up six yellow jerseys in its seven years of existence, the striking black-and-yellow kit merely added to the team’s star quality.
By the middle years, however, a more egalitarian French team represented the globalisation of the sport, with young American riders making an impact in the biggest races. In the second half of the decade, the first British trade team took its place at the world’s greatest race. From the opening TT things went against them; riders began to drop out, and it was a skeleton outfit that arrived in Paris.
The three breast logos represent these teams iconic riders and style with Renault's "Badger" Hinault, La Vie Claire's Lemond, and ANC-Halfords' wildcard status at the 1987 Tour.
