So i have been riding in a group format and also on my own and when in the Group format having no mudguards has been awkward more so the fact that you are getting face full of whats on the road and so is the person behind you. Getting these as they were recommended was one of the best winter purchase's easy to fit just remove the Brake and fit the brackets to the rear of the brake mount, then you fit the clips to each side of the Quick release why do you ask this is because these mudguards can clip off when you don't need them so when i jump on the indoor trainer they remove just by pressing the release buttons top and bottom easy !! The last ride i did was in heavy rain for over four hours and i was asked if i had wet legs ? No was the reply due to having these fitted. They fit snug on my carbon frame and as you can see i'm only using the rear sections i have readjusted the bracket on the rear as you can see and i did try the front mount but it was catching the tyre a little (running 25C ) but the water still doesn't hit me. These are nice and light and easy to fit and remove and also a great price the shipping from Sigma was also quick and easy nice and securely packaged. Im super happy with these and would definitely recommend them.

I put these on a new second hand single speed which has zero bosses, but does have caliper brakes (you need a brake bridge to attach so not really an option in a disc brake bike without a rear bridge). I know the fittings would have to be adapted too. The reason being on a single speed or fixie the axle thickness is too wide for the fitting. So I filed it wide enough to fir (9mm front/10mm back) and then fitted great. The bike already has a good amount of clearance so the limit of 25mm tyres does not apply in my setup. 28mm tyres absolutely fine, would not be trying 30mm, that might be going too far. These have been on for several weeks and work really well. In the setup I had to do a bit of bending the metal arms here and there to ensure there was no rubbing but once done, no need to tweak again and several hundred miles of riding done already. Because the brackets under the calipers have a gap before the mudguard starts I have noticed how muck gets onto the top of the front nose guard, but its not really an issue. More importantly I am keeping the wet off me, and reasonably off my feet too, though that would be improved if I add an extender on the front guard.
