Description

SRAM G2 Ultimate Carbon Rear Disc Brake Lever/Caliper

In the quest to create their lightest four-piston brake yet, SRAM pulled out all the stops with their SRAM G2 Ultimate Carbon Rear Disc Brake Lever/Caliper. A carbon fibre lever and titanium hardware ensure this goal was achieved, with the ultralight package still retaining the unrivalled modulation for which the series is known. Dubbed the “Mini-Code”, it channels the outright stopping power of the legendary SRAM downhill brakes, taking that technology to new heights with its exceptionally lightweight chassis.

Personalisation is at the forefront of its design, with tool-free reach and contact point adjustment supplying you with an endlessly tuneable lever to suit any rider preference. The carbon lever blade is extremely stiff and instils confidence with its positive feel. Bleeding Edge technology ensures the bleed process is stress-free, with the port now being located at the base of the caliper.

For a clean, crisp lever feel, pivot bearings are found in place of bushings, providing a consistent feel that is free from play. To reduce deadband - the free space between lever actuation and engagement - SRAM SwingLink technology requires less lever throw for the pistons to contact the rotor.
