Be at the cutting edge of cycling technology with the SRAM RED eTap Wireless TT Groupset Quarq GXP Chainset. This wireless system removes any unnecessary clutter to leave just the elegant essentials and an electronic groupset that is ready to tackle any road.

With well over 500,000 miles of testing, including multiple Grand Tours, the RED eTap is ready for the road. The system connects via SRAM proprietary AIREA wireless protocol. This system uses incredibly secure 128-bit encryption, similar to the one used by cash point machines, so security is not an issue.

Perhaps the most ingenious part of the RED eTap system are the Blips. The set includes two pairs of Blips; one for the left side and one for the right. These small little shifting pads can be placed anywhere you desire including under your bar tape for a minimalist yet cutting-edge shifting setup.

Also included is the BlipBox. This central box does away with the clutter of many other electronic systems providing a central hub for the four Blips to be plugged into. The simple plus and minus buttons on the junction box also act as shifters, allowing you a wide range of shifting configurations.

Next, the RED eTap rear derailleur. With this derailleur shifting up or down the rear cassette happens instantly. Unbelievably easy to set up, the mechanical properties such as the carbon pulley cage, ceramic pulley bearing and high polish alloy blend perfectly with the proprietary electronic system. At just 215 grams, without the battery, this derailleur still maintains a very slim profile and the medium cage fits a 28t maximum sprocket cassette.

The front derailleur continues the lightweight theme at just 163 grams without the battery. Working seamlessly with the wireless protocol, this derailleur utilises SRAM's cutting-edge YAW technology that makes automatic adjustments throughout the gear range without the need for a rider's input.

SRAM's RED eTap system is compatible with all SRAM 22 cranksets, chains, chainrings brakes and cassettes and the IP67 standard means it is both dust and water tight when submerged to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes.

Both the front and rear derailleur batteries are included. These batteries are interchangeable and provide up to 1000 kilometres of riding per charge. The included USB battery recharger brings the batteries up to capacity in just 45 minutes and the system automatically powers up or goes into sleep mode when the bike is moving or stationary.

Also included is the RED Quarq Crankset and RED22 chainrings (52/36) with X-Glide. This 11-speed crankset is built for speed and smooth shifting with the eTap front derailleur. This set comes with a GXP bottom bracket (cups sold separately). The Red22 HollowPin 114 links PowerLock 11-speed chain ensures smooth shifting and a slower rate of wear and stretch.

The RED Quarq crankset provides an elite-level power meter with +/- 1.5% accuracy. The crank features an LED that signals power on and zeroing, a visible ANT+ ID and a tool-free, user-replaceable CR2032 battery that lasts up to 300 hours. The crank can broadcast power data to any ANT+ enabled head unit such as a Garmin Edge 1000 GPS Computer.

Add in Power Balance technology, AxCad cadence and acceleration monitoring and OmniCal technology that means you can change chainrings without affecting accuracy and you have a power meter that is ready to perform.

The strategically designed XG-1190 11-28 11-speed A2 cassette is constructed from heat-treated high-grade tool steel and features a hollow construction with CNC-machined cogs and rear cut-outs for reduced weight and added stiffness. The result is the stiffest and lightest cassette SRAM have ever built.

Braking is taken care of with the Red Aero Link front & rear brakeset. These calipers host a wealth of wind-beating features including a AeroLink arm that dramatically reduces the frontal area while improving the braking performance and modulation. The brake body has been sculpted to provide a sleek aerodynamic profile to the wind. Even the smallest details, like the barrel adjuster, points away from the wind. Rounding off the package are SwissStop Flash Pro brake pads for alloy rims that come standard with every set.

Finally, the USB dongle allows you to easily update the system's firmware from your computer.
