SRAM Rival Crankset (inc GXP cups) 53/39
Open Core Technology sounds like something you would find on a spaceship, well SRAM are not far off producing something just as state of the art with their SRAM Rival Crankset (inc GXP cups) 53/39. A crankset that balances weight with stiffness. The Open Core Technology (OCT), compared to conventional solid-core aluminium cranksets, is both lighter and stronger. A standard chainring setup features a 53 outside ring and pairs it with a 39 inner. The addition of GPX cups saves weight and makes for a smoother spinning system.
A hollow forged design, made from AL-6066 alloy, is the perfect platform for the PowerGlide 10-speed chainrings. A durable crankset with a polished arm and a hard-anodised coating adding a resistant finish to the chainrings. Tipping the scales at 830 grams, with the bottom bracket, this is one lightweight, great value drivetrain addition.
