Salomon’s Sense Ride GTX Nocturne Edition Trail Running Shoes are a good general-purpose off-road shoe, with a Contagrip® MA outsole that works on a variety of terrain. The spaced lugs clear quickly and the Premium Wet Traction rubber provides grip on dirt, rocks and roots. The simple Quicklace system is neat and secure, with a pocket for the lace ends so that they don’t get caught on any undergrowth. The laces work in conjunction with the SensiFit cradle and Endofit sleeve to hold the shoe snugly and securely around the foot, providing a stable platform for running, even on rough ground. Gore-Tex’s Invisible Fit™ technology means that the waterproof membrane is more integral with the fabric of the shoe than it is in standard waterproof footwear, making the shoes lighter and more flexible. 360° reflectivity brings extra safety and visibility when running in the dark.
