Integrating big 29-inch wheel compatibility with the hardest hitting suspension the Santa Cruz Megatower Carbon CC Mountain Bike Frame is a burly off-road presence suitable for blitzing any trail. From the longest descents that include rocks, roots and jumps through to winding and grinding singletrack, the Megatower exudes an aura of undeniable off-road confidence.
The frame features Santa Cruz’s finest carbon and this material is laid across its tube sections in a stringent pattern to infuse snappy handling and rough surface compliance. This main chassis is complemented by its one-piece swingarm, rear triangle design with them being married via a VPP lower-link setup. Supplemented by the RockShox damping unit, this rear suspension configuration grants a composed and progressive shock rate, superior traction, enhanced rear wheel tracking and increased bottom-out resistance.
All of these benefits can be honed by the rider depending on the trail conditions ahead via Flip Chips that are positioned in the rear linkage and the rear dropouts. Adjusting these fine-tunes the behaviour of the rear suspension and the weight distribution of the rider to result in an ultimately personalised ride experience.
The package is then completed with a threaded bottom bracket shell for reliability and convenience, water bottle mounts inside the main frame triangle and refined cable routing for ease of maintenance and improved aesthetics.
