Fabric

Constructed using lycra fibres to keep the shorts close to the contours of the legs and get the pro style fit. The union short features Acquazero a non-wetting material called Acquazero by SITIP. This is a unique high stretch material and water guard technology to give the rider 60 minutes of water repellence which gives very high water resistance. Low water absorption and low water leaking make the jersey great for all day riding with intermittent showers, this gives peace of mind that they will remain comfortable between weather spells. The fabric is also stain and oil resistant, meaning when you drop your pasty down yourself on your favourite coffee stop it will simply wash off.

Also included especially for the bib shorts from SITIP; is the Eclipse polyester which makes them much more difficult to see through and adds a greater level on ultra violet (UV) protection.

To allow for great thermo regulation the Acquazero fabric is featured across the shorts while leaving the bib constructed with mesh to ensure minimal sweat build up on the hottest of summer days, especially when you are on the drops riding pace line. The Acquazero fabric is highly breathable and pushes sweat to the surface of the shorts, keeping skin cool and temperature regulated.

Chamois (Pad)

The union bib short uses Santini's GIT chamois technology and uses a twist gel core. This core uses silicone gel in layers to gradually and consistently absorb shocks and will always return to its original shape. The union is great for long endurance rides, with the anti-bacterial micro fibre top layer which ensures freedom of movement therefore reducing chaffing. The extra wide grippers on the leg openings prevent slipping and movement which means less pinching and chaffing.
