Intended as a do-it-all, fit and forget cyclocross tyre, Schwalbe’s X-One Allround 700c x 35mm TLE Folding Clincher Tyre offers excellent grip across a variety of surfaces and conditions, allowing one set of tyres to be raced all season long potentially. The central tread is grippy and reasonably spaced for mud clearance but the lugs are not energy-sappingly long so they still work well on drier, faster days. Taller shoulder studs provide extra grip in soft conditions or when cornering. Using Schwalbe’s TLE technology, the tyre can be easily set up tubeless so that lower pressures can be used on gloopy courses without the risk of pinch puncturing.
