Designed to conquer trails, Scott present the Genius 700/900 Tuned HMX Mountain Bike Frame + FOX 34 Fork 2018. A truly compliant and versatile frame that encourages the same confidence controlling technical descents as it does tackling challenging climbs.

Continuing their legacy of lightweight frames, Scott's carbon experts vigorously tested and optimised the HMX carbon to be 20% stiffer and around 14% lighter than the industry standard HMF, delivering a frame that is incredibly compliant and lightweight without compromising power transfer.

Laced with some of the industry's forefront technology, Scott have composed their high-end frame with FOX's 34 Float Factory Air forks. Offering customisable performance, FOX have optimised these forks to automatically equalise the positive and negative air chambers, delivering improved traction control and bump sensitivity. The additional feature of TwinLoc enables three on-the-fly adjustments, limiting the 150mm fork to 110mm of travel with the Trail mode, and lockout mode for improved pedal efficiency on steep climbs.

By utilising volume spacers, FOX have enabled their riders to fine tune the characteristics of their forks, increasing progressiveness for extra mid-stroke support. Finished off with the flashy Kashima coating these forks soak up trails with silky smooth performance and enhanced durability.

Developed and optimised around rider input, the FOX Nude EVOL shock delivers exceptional performance in all trail conditions. By vigorously testing and developing the rear shock around the simulated motion of the gyroscopic pedal stroke and its effect on suspension, FOX have produced a shock that maintains traction and control without compromising power transfer.

Additionally, through the utilisation of the Geometry Chip, Scott have engineered a versatile platform that accommodates both 27.5" and 29" wheels. Optimised for bigger volume tyres, this highly customisable frame can fit tyre widths up to 2.8 for 27.5" wheels, and 2.6 for 29" wheels, promoting increased corner handling for those who crave for speed.
