After many hours researching the best way to attach my bikes to my car, I decided upon a roof rack. I plan to upgrade my car In the near future, so I was hesitant to spend any decent money on a roof rack that won't be suitable for a new car! When I found the SeaSucker, after reading countless reviews, I hesitantly took the plunge. This was a lot of money for me, especially with the extra plugs required for my MTB thru axel. However; after driving 550 miles yesterday on motorways, bumpy country lanes and icy back roads the bikes didn't budge an inch, and not once did I have to pump up the suction cups. It whistles a bit in the wind, but i guess all bike racks do. The further back you place it the less it whistles. All in all, a fantastic bit of kit. I'm an idiot, and it took me 10 minutes from opening the box to getting it on the roof with the bikes. Points to note - if you've got one road bike and one thru axel bike, place the thru axel on right unlike what I've done, it'll make getting it on the roof much easier!

Security is incredibly important when carrying bicycles. Four six-inch SeaSucker vacuum mount cups are more than up to the task and are easy to attach using a simple pump action. This provides an immense 100kg of pull strength through each cup.
Durability is catered for with a strong HDPE body, which is also compact. If you're looking for some security for the system, the SeaSuckers Cable Anchor can be purchased separately and fits onto the window and frame to keep your bike safe.
Two easy to use rear-wheel straps have also been added, securing the wheel in place with hoop and loop straps to prevent sideways movement.

Honestly, I was worried, I read the comments on forums of scaremongers saying you’d be an idiot to trust your bike to suction but I risked it - I have a mini that you can’t easily get bike racks for. Super easy to fit and get your bike attached and there are handy indicators of vacuum. 6 hours of motorway driving on a windy day and it was exactly as we started. Honestly feel like the bike would break before you could shift the rack! Massively recommended
