The Selle San Marco Mantra Carbon FX Full Saddle is the result of in-depth ergonomic studies aimed at satisfying even the most demanding cyclists. Combining carbon rails and a carbon reinforced shell, the weight is kept down to a mere 160 grams in its narrower size, while the stiffness is greatly increased, eliminating unwanted twist and flex during high-intensity efforts. The DNA rails utilise a crossing X shape knot to offer unrivalled performance, while the rail length is greater than most competitors, allowing plenty of room for adjustments.
Despite the Mantra FX being designed as a race focussed offering, comfort is still of key importance to its design. Utilising a Biofoam pad, the pelvis is allowed to move during pedal strokes, while the Full-Fit design offers support for the ischial bones and perineum area.
Durability is taken care of by the Microfeel cover; this lightweight material is very hardwearing and offers phenomenal grip in all conditions. The corners also feature a carbon fabric, adding additional strength and heightened aesthetics.
