105 STI Levers now have a far shorter shifting and more proficient action
Product Details
The previous iteration of Shimano's 105 shifters, the 5800 series, have long been the shifters of choice for riders the world over. Now, the new R7000 STI shifters have taken the 105 groupset to new heights of performance. Designed for 11-speed, double chainring systems, these shifters boast vastly improved ergonomics for more intuitive use, and newly chamfered tops to assist with grip in wet conditions. They also now boast 15mm of brake lever reach adjustment, so no matter your physiological requirements you will be able to tailor them to suit.
The OPTISLICK cable technology features an electronically coated outer layer that assists with shifting efficiency and helps to weatherproof the shifters against corrosion. They also benefit from easier access to the inner cables, making these shifters eminently serviceable and a solid option for a year-round winter bike. Offering effortless shifting performance, smooth braking modulation, and supremely comfortable ergonomics, these shifters are a surefire performance upgrade for any rider.

Reviews
I bought these as an upgrade from 10 speed 105 5700 shifters. Very easy to fit. No instructions were included but videos and text instructions are readily available online. Smooth operation and crisp shifting. Very good price from Sigma. Would use them again.

Hollo. Are the R7000 shifters compatible with the R800 front and rear ??
Hi there, Yes, the 105 R7000 shifters work with Ultegra R8000 front and rear derailleurs. All Shimano 11-speed road groups share the same cable pull, so they mix without issue. Just match the rear derailleur cage to your cassette range. Many thanks

Hi Pete, Yes these will work with Cantilever Brakes, Many thanks Joe W

About Shimano
Shifting the way the world rides.
From a single Osaka workshop in 1921, Shimano has grown into the world's most influential component maker. The brand's relentless engineering — Dura-Ace, Ultegra, GRX, XTR — has shaped the way the world shifts, brakes and rides, on the road and off it.
Shimano's flagship groupset, Dura-Ace, has been the benchmark for top-level road components for more than five decades. Every refinement that lands on Dura-Ace eventually shapes the entire Shimano range, all the way down to entry-level drivetrains.
