The Shimano Claris Double Braze-On Front Derailleur is for use with 2 x 8-speed drivetrains and provides inexpensive but still highly efficient shifting. The cage is steel plated for durability whilst the use of aluminium elsewhere helps save weight. It is compatible with frames that have a braze-on mount.
