Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 C60 Carbon Tubular Front Wheel
Speed comes as standard with the Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 C60 Carbon Tubular Front Wheel. With an all carbon rim construction that keeps the weight down to just 652 grams and a 60mm depth profile, this wheel is ideally suited to time trials, triathlons and flat sprint courses.
The all-carbon rim construction and braking surface offer stiffness and aerodynamic performance while the carbon braking surface has been specially designed to perform in the wet and the dry, with the help of water displacement technology. The 28mm rim width aids tubular wheel traction while also boosting the aerodynamic performance of the tyre and wheel in headwinds.
For the hub, Shimano has utilised integrated steel Borozon treated bearing races with a super mirror finish. This, combined with a cold forged machine alloy hub shell, acts to not only reduce weight and increase strength, but also dramatically reduces internal friction between the bearings, helping you to roll faster for longer.
