Shimano RD-M7100 SLX 12-speed Shadow+ SGS Rear Derailleur
Intended for use with modern 1x Shimano drivetrains, the RD-M7100 SLX 12-Speed Shadow+ SGS Rear Derailleur provides great, crisp shifts and a light action. The chain stabilising switch adds tension to prevent the chain from bouncing on rough ground and hitting the chainstays or even coming off the chainrings, ensuring that the ride is quiet and shifting remains accurate.
The 13 tooth pulley wheels have double sealed bearings for less drag and the larger circumference means less friction in the chain, saving watts and increasing speed. By using a carbon fibre outer pulley cage, weight has been saved without sacrificing the stiffness required for great shifting. The derailleur has a total capacity of 41 teeth (the difference between the smallest and largest sprocket), and a maximum low sprocket of 51 teeth so it can be happily used with single ring drivetrains without missing out on low gears.
