From the lung-busting interval efforts of cyclocross to the relentless technical challenges of XC mountain biking to the high speeds of gravel racing, the Shimano XC903 S-Phyre Mountain Bike Shoes make sure you enjoy ruthless pedalling efficiency. The performance-focused sole unit is rated 11 out of 12 for stiffness, and featuring a low stack height, gives near-instantaneous power delivery, ideal for driving up steep climbs and accelerating hard out of technical sections. The SHIMANO ULTREAD® XC rubber outsole provides a tenacious grip when you need to get off and run and you can fit talon-shaped spikes for the muddiest of courses.
The upper of the XC903s gives a snug but supple fit, tuned to offer excellent breathability to keep your feet fresh during intense off-road efforts. The heel cup has anti-twist stabilisation to provide stability and optimal foot positioning. Shimano utilises dual BOA® Li2 dials for fit adjustment, providing quick and easy operation, even on the fly. The lower dial is also shielded to protect against impacts. Pedal Compatibility
These off-road shoes are compatible with MTB and trekking pedal systems utilising the 2-bolt cleat system such as Shimano SPD, Look Trekking and X-Track, crank brothers Candy etc..
Sizing Note:
Shimano shoes run small. If you usually wear a 44, order a 45 here. If you're between half sizes, always go up.
