The Sidi Alba 2 Road Cycling Shoes have durable Politex material uppers that are flexible and soft to guarantee comfort on long rides. Perfectly partnering the uppers, the Millenium 4 Carbon Composite soles use a blend of carbon fibre and nylon in their construction, making them stiff for efficient power transfer and lightweight.
Sidi's Tecno-3 fastening system adapts to the upper shape of the foot, providing a customisable fit. The wire material within the Tecno-3 dials is non-binding and allows for effortless adjustments on the move. The Soft Instep 3 System works in tandem with the fastening dials, utilising its wide, anatomically curved strap and soft, thermo-formed EVA pad to grant support over the tops of the feet without causing any peak pressure points.
A replaceable heel pad makes walking easier, and the reinforced heel holds the foot in the ideal position while pedalling. Compatible with 3-hole cleats, the Alba 2 Road Shoes are ideal for use with the most popular road pedals from Shimano and Look.

Sizing note: Sidi shoes run small and have a narrow fit. On length: if you're between sizes, size up. On width: if you have a wider foot, choose the Wide Fit version — don't try to compensate with a larger size in the standard.
Measure your foot by following these steps:
1) Place a piece of paper on the floor with the shortest side against the wall.
2) Put your bare foot on the paper with the heel pressing against the wall.
3) Make a mark on the paper at the tip of your longest toe.
4) Use a ruler to measure the distance between the mark you've just made and the bottom of the paper where your heel was placed. Round to the nearest mm.
Always measure both feet to get the most accurate size. If you find that your right and left foot are different in lengths, it is recommended that you opt for the larger size.
I purchased some sidi Alba 2 road shoes,the quality is outstanding,without doubt the best shoes I’ve owned,stiff but comfortable straight out of box,a little stiff on tongue but they have little slots you can cut to suit your shape,
These, for me are perfect for winter riding. Overshoes can be left on over the two Velcro straps which just leaves the dial to tighten up. There are no vents in the toe like my previous winter shoe, the genius 7, or in the sole, to let water in. Not overly heavy, if your intending to ride in most conditions over the winter, these are good bet.
